Provincial representatives presented the Strategy and Achievement in Driving Provincial Tobacco Control Projectwhich is a collaboration of provincial representatives and TRC. One story was presented by each province. Details are shown below:

1. Chiangrai Province: Representatives from Chiangrai province presented their project, ?The Strategy and Achievement in Driving Provincial Tobacco Control Project in Chiangrai?. Strong points of this project were: (1) Communication innovation for both one ? way and two ? way communication, (2) Better ways of smokers? behavior change, (3) Social power encouragement, (4) Strategic modification, and (5) Increased researchers? capability. Moreover, the research results also indicated successful factors used in conducting research including involvement of family, educational institutions, community leaders and volunteers, and project participants.
2. Nan Province: Nan representatives presented their project, ?The campaign of smoke ? free Nan?. The aims of this project were to: (1) drive processes of the smoke ? free province in Nan, (2) establish cooperation among various sectors to drive a smoke ? free province, (3) encourage and drive knowledge, understanding and practice following legislation and regulation, (4) set smoking areas in premises, public areas, public and private places, (5) encourage, support, control and monitor law enforcement, (6) establish smoking cessation.
