The Impact of Tobacco Use on Household Consumption Patterns in Pakistan, 2020. This 20 page report shows that lower-income households spend more of their budget on tobacco than higher-income households, and more than on education and health. Thus, reducing tobacco use by even 50% frees up resources for food and education.
