Information of Tobacco Control
TOBACCO PRODUCTS CONTROL ACT B.E. 2560 (2017)
Tobacco information provides information on the situation of tobacco consumption in Thailand. Data from the Health and Welfare Survey during 1991-present, the Smoking and Drinking Behaviour Survey from the National Statistical Office of Thailand during 2007 to present and other sources were applied to analyze the situation of tobacco consumption in Thailand. This information includes smoking rate, mortality from smoking related diseases, type of cigarette smoked, second hand smoke, cigarette excise tax revenues and etc. This information can be used for effective monitoring and surveillance of tobacco consumption among Thai population.
