VOLUME 400, ISSUE 10352, P563-591. “The leading cancer in terms of risk-attributable deaths globally in 2019 for both males and females was tracheal, bronchus, and lung cancer (36·9% [34·2–39·3] of all attributable cancer deaths), followed by colon and rectum cancer, esophageal cancer, and stomach cancer in males, and cervical cancer, colon and rectum cancer, and breast cancer in females. Deaths caused by cancer and risk-attributable deaths caused by cancer tended to be greater in males than females for leading causes of cancer death globally, with the exception of cancer types that occur predominantly in women….”
