Comment: The average e-cigarette use of 18 to 64-year-old adults in 10 Asian countries was 21.2%, while that for seven high-income countries was 21.7%. In short, middle-income Asian countries have similar e-cigarette use as higher-income countries, illustrating that the promotion of e-cigarettes in Asia has been successful, often because of fewer regulatory controls to limit use increases.
